A Lifetime Inspired by the Prairie Kitchen
Born in Weyburn, Saskatchewan, Renee Darlene Bohun grew up with an appreciation for food, family and prairie hospitality. Her grandmother, Rheta Nickle, and mother, Gail Bohun, inspired her lifelong interest in recipes and family traditions. A career spanning more than 25 years in event management and fundraising strengthened her creative approach to food, presentation and storytelling. Today, Renee brings those experiences together in Prairie Girls Cook, a personal tribute to the women who shaped her family and communities across the Canadian Prairies.
